About me
I spent some years working in the timber industry covering all areas from felling trees to sawing and drying timber.
In my spare time I created bowls, hollow vessels and sculptures on a woodturning lathe.
Having seen so much beautiful timber during my work it was a natural progression for me to venture into furniture making, initially making for family and friends.
In 2003 my wife and I moved to Robin Hood’s Bay on the east coast where I decided to open a workshop and make furniture full time.
Robin Hood’s Bay and the North York Moors National Park is a truly inspirational place. I hope this is reflected in the furniture I make.
